The white mesh represents the un-deformed liver surface. The color code represents the distance between the simulated and the real deformed surface from two vertical compression paddles. All dimensions are in mm. In the red-yellow region, the real surface data discretization is too coarse in order to reproduce the folds. Then, in this region, the distance between the surfaces increased mainly due to data acquisition procedure rather than to the simulation performance
